As you move your finger through the labyrinth,
at every turn, think about a grief or loss. When you reach the center, let your finger remain there for a while, and think about the difference that these losses have made in your life. As you make your way out,
at every turn think about the grief or loss and turn it over to God in prayer. Keep going in and out of the labyrinth becoming more and more aware of what is
going on inside of you, and less and less aware
of what is going on outside of you.
SIMPLE GIFTS
(SHAKER HYMN)

T'is the gift to be simple
T'is the gift to be free
T'is the gift to come down
where we ought to be
and when we find ourselves
in the place just right
I'll be in the valley of love and delight
When true simplicity is gained
to bow and to bend
we will not be ashamed
To turn, to turn will be our delight
till by turning, turning
we come round right
TURN, TURN, TURN
From Ecclesiastes and Pete Seeger
Refrain: To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time for every purpose, under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep Refrain

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones,
a time to gather stones together Refrain

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace,
a time to refrain from embracing Refrain

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time for peace, I swear its not too late
